We’re happy to be partnering with Shaftesbury Park in the recruitment of a Bar Manager! Shaftesbury Park is a well-known venue of choice throughout the South West for social and corporate events and functions, as well as being home to the Dings Crusaders.
You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the bar, maintaining high standards of service, and leading a friendly and passionate team.
Duties of the Bar Manager to include:
- Managing daily bar operations including evening and late-night shifts
- Leading, motivating, and developing the bar team
- Managing staff schedules, holidays, and absence
- Overseeing stock control, ordering, and cost management
- Ensuring compliance with licensing requirements, health and safety procedures
- Supporting the planning and promotion of events and entertainment
- Managing day-to-day social media
Due to the nature of this Bar Manager role, at least 2 years’ experience in bar or hospitality management is required. You must also have excellent organisational and communication skills, along with the ability to lead by example.
