About the role
We are seeking a compassionate and flexible Cover Teaching Assistant for our SEN school in Billingshurst. You will assist teachers in delivering personalised academic and emotional support to pupils with diverse special educational needs, maintaining a safe and inclusive environment.
Flexible, ad hoc availability is ideal, as day-to-day duties will vary depending on the dynamic needs of the school.
Salary: £91-£105 per day - ad hoc cover
Hours: 9-3:30 - Full day only.
Requirements:
- Have full eligibility to work in the UK - sponsorship is not offered in this role.
- Drivers preferred due to remote location.
- Grade 4/C or above in English and Maths GCSE.
- Enhanced DBS check on the update service or willing to undergo one.
- 3-6 months of proven experience working alongside students with special educational needs.
