Procurement Manager Indirect

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Indirect Procurement professional to join an established global organisation and become part of a collaborative procurement team. With responsibility for a sizeable portfolio of indirect spend, this role offers genuine category ownership and the opportunity to influence procurement across key business areas.

Your new role
You will manage a varied portfolio with a particular focus on Marketing, alongside categories such as Facilities Management and Utilities.Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing end-to-end sourcing and tender processes
• Developing category and sourcing strategies
• Leading supplier negotiations and managing commercial agreements
• Creating evaluation criteria, scoring models and tender documentation
• Managing supplier performance and relationships
• Partnering with Marketing and other senior internal stakeholders
• Identifying savings, efficiencies and commercial improvements
• Supporting operational purchasing activities, including purchase orders
• Balancing strategic category management with hands-on procurement delivery

What you'll need to succeed

You'll be an experienced Indirect Procurement / Category professional with:

• Strong indirect procurement experience
• End-to-end tendering, sourcing and negotiation expertise
• Experience managing supplier contracts and commercial agreements
• Strong stakeholder and supplier relationship management skills
• Experience developing tender evaluation and supplier selection methodologies
• The ability to manage a significant spend portfolio independently
• A proactive, commercially focused and collaborative approach
• Exposure to marketing procurement would be highly advantageous but not essential.
