Are you a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in BB7? We are working with a welcoming and supportive primary school seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis until the end of the academic year, with the potential to secure a permanent contract for the right candidate.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils' learning and development both inside and outside the classroom. You will work closely with class teachers to create a positive learning environment and help pupils reach their full potential.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting teaching and learning across the classroom.
• Working with small groups and individual pupils to provide targeted support.
• Assisting pupils with varying learning needs and abilities.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement with learning.
• Helping prepare classroom resources and activities.
• Supporting the social and emotional development of pupils.
• Working collaboratively with teaching staff and parents where required.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with children in a school setting is desirable.
• A Teaching Assistant qualification is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A patient, proactive, and nurturing approach.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
