Administrator (Maternity Cover)

We are looking for a reliable and organised Administrator to join the team on a temporary maternity cover basis. This role offers the opportunity to provide essential administrative and customer support across a range of tasks, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage incoming and outgoing email correspondence, prioritising and escalating where necessary

• Accurate and timely data entry into internal systems and databases

• Provide excellent customer service via phone and email, handling enquiries professionally

• Investigate and resolve invoice queries in liaison with finance and customers

• Support onboarding of new customers, including processing new customer contracts and relevant documentation

• Call taking and routing; logging calls and actions in line with team procedures

Skills and experience required

• Proven experience in an administrative or customer service role

• Strong email management and call-handling skills

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail for data entry and contract processing

• Experience managing invoice queries or working with finance teams

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to multitask, prioritise and work independently under pressure

Additional information

Temporary maternity cover (full-time)

Hours - Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm

Rate of Pay - £12.74ph, weekly pay

Start date - ASAP, duration one year

Training and guidance will be provided.
