Private Client Solicitor – Partner | Dorchester, Dorset | Hybrid Working
An excellent opportunity for an ambitious Private Client Solicitor to join a highly regarded Legal 500 team at Partner level, leading the continued growth of its Wills, Trusts & Probate practice across Dorset.
My client is looking for an established Private Client lawyer who wants to build and develop their own practice within a respected regional firm. You’ll work with a high-quality client base including HNW individuals, business owners, farming families and landed estates, with the autonomy and support to shape the future direction of the department.
The Role
- Lead and develop the Wills, Trusts & Probate practice across Dorset
- Manage a high-quality caseload involving complex Wills, Probate, Estates and Trusts
- Advise on tax planning, succession planning and wealth preservation
- Work with HNW individuals, business owners, farming families and landed estates
- Build and strengthen relationships with clients, professional advisers and referrers
- Generate new business and drive the strategic growth of the practice
- Mentor and support junior lawyers as the team develops
- Work collaboratively with Residential Property, Commercial, Construction and Family teams to identify cross-referral opportunities
About You
- Experienced Private Client Solicitor at Partner or Senior Associate level
- Strong technical expertise across Wills, Trusts & Probate
- Confident advising on complex estates, trusts, tax and succession planning
- Excellent client relationship and business development skills
- Established professional network with the ability to generate new opportunities
- Commercially minded, entrepreneurial and ambitious
- Collaborative approach with a passion for developing others
- STEP qualified or working towards the qualification would be advantageous
