We are currently supporting our client, a prominent Injection Moulding manufacturer based in Sutton Coldfield, who is looking for an experienced Mould Setter to join their expanding team. If you have a background in Injection Moulding and are skilled in setting equipment and tooling, this opportunity is perfect for you. Position Overview: The successful Mould Setter will be responsible for setting all equipment on Injection Moulding lines, ensuring efficient operation and maintaining high–quality standards. This role requires expertise in fault recognition, mechanical knowledge, and experience with various moulding materials and robotics. Key Responsibilities: Setting Equipment: Set up all equipment on Injection Moulding lines, including tools and ancillary equipment, within required timeframes as directed by the Team Co–Ordinator. Efficiency Management: Ensure all Injection Moulding lines are running efficiently to meet KPIs: OEE, line efficiency, quality, and conformance. Quality Checks: Complete and record all quality checks as specified by the Quality Department. Tool Maintenance: Care for and maintain all Injection Moulding tooling, ensuring they are suitable for required tasks. Key Requirements: Trained in Injection Moulding Setting Qualified to use Hoists / Lifting equipment Good mechanical knowledge Ability to recognize faults and troubleshoot Experience with robotics Understanding of different moulding material characteristics How to Apply: If you would like to be considered for the role of Mould Setter, please apply with your full CV or call us now.
