Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer Up to 53,000 Panama Shifts Poole, Dorset Food Manufacturing Days & Nights Up to 53,000 Permanent Full Time Looking for your next engineering move? This one could be worth up to 53k. We're looking for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join an established food manufacturing business in Poole. This is an opportunity to join a busy manufacturing operation where engineering plays a crucial role in keeping production running, maintaining equipment reliability and ensuring the site operates safely and efficiently. You'll be a hands-on engineer, working across production equipment, tackling electrical and mechanical faults, responding to breakdowns and delivering preventative maintenance. If you enjoy fault finding, problem solving and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, there's plenty to get your teeth into. The Shift Pattern Panama Shift Pattern 2 weeks on days: 05:45 - 17:45 2 weeks on nights: 17:45 - 05:45 A rotating shift pattern combining day and night working, with a structured two-week rotation. The Role You'll be responsible for supporting the smooth running of the manufacturing operation, ensuring machinery and equipment remain safe, reliable and productive. Your responsibilities will include: Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across production equipment. Diagnosing and resolving electrical and mechanical faults. Responding to machinery breakdowns and minimising production downtime. Delivering preventative maintenance to improve equipment reliability. Identifying recurring faults and contributing to long-term solutions. Supporting continuous improvement and engineering projects. Working closely with production teams to maintain operational performance. Ensuring high standards of engineering and site safety. What We're Looking For We're keen to speak with experienced Multiskilled Maintenance Engineers who enjoy working in a hands-on manufacturing environment. You'll need: NVQ Level 3 in an engineering discipline (essential). Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance experience. Industrial fault-finding and diagnostic experience. Previous experience within manufacturing, FMCG, food or a similar environment. Experience carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance. A proactive approach to problem solving. The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment. What's On Offer? Salary up to 53,000 Full-time, permanent position. Panama shift pattern. 12-hour shifts, days and nights.
