Store Manager Location: Tunbridge Wells Salary: 45,000 – 50,000 Are you an experienced Retail or Store Manager looking for an exciting new opportunity? Overview of the Role As Retail Manager / Store Manager, you will take responsibility for the day–to–day running of the store, leading a small sales team and ensuring the highest standards of customer service, presentation and sales performance. You will be a hands–on manager who leads by example, motivates the team and creates a welcoming and professional retail environment. You will play a key role in driving sales, developing customer relationships, managing daily operations and ensuring every customer receives an exceptional experience. Key Responsibilities Managing, motivating and developing a small retail sales team. Taking responsibility for the day–to–day running of the store. Driving sales performance and achieving business targets. Delivering outstanding customer service and building long–term customer relationships. Welcoming customers and understanding their individual requirements. Providing product advice and helping customers make informed purchasing decisions. Managing quotations, orders, payments and deliveries. Ensuring the store is presented to the highest possible standard. Managing staff rotas, appointments and daily operational requirements. Handling customer queries, complaints and after–sales issues professionally. Maintaining accurate customer records and updating the CRM system. Identifying opportunities to increase sales and improve store performance. Skills & Experience Essential and desirable experience: Previous experience as a Retail Manager, Store Manager, Assistant Manager or similar. Proven experience managing and motivating a team. A strong commercial awareness with a track record of driving sales. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Confident building relationships with customers and colleagues. Strong organisational and time management skills. Ability to work in a busy, fast–paced retail environment. A hands–on approach with the ability to lead by example. Interested?
