Warehouse Manager

Warehouse Manager Wellesbourne, Warwickshire GBP34,000 GBP35,000 per annum Permanent, Full–time We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Manager to join a busy warehouse and logistics operation in Wellesbourne. This is a hands–on Warehouse Manager role, you won't just be sat behind a desk and will get involved with all duties across the site. It involves managing a small permanent team with big seasonal peaks so the team size will vary. You will manage the day–to–day warehouse operation, including stock control, goods in and out, picking and loading, transport, team management and Health & Safety. Key Responsibilities Manage the day–to–day running of the warehouseLead and supervise warehouse staffOrganise picking, packing, loading and returnsManage stock levels and stock controlKeep the warehouse organised and running efficientlyArrange couriers, transport and deliveriesMake sure equipment and stock is prepared and ready when requiredCarry out basic maintenance and repairs where neededUse and maintain warehouse management systemsMonitor warehouse performance, costs and productivityMaintain Health & Safety standards across the warehouse and yardManage vehicle movements and loading operationsComplete warehouse reports and administration About You We're looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager, Warehouse Supervisor or Logistics Manager who is comfortable working in a hands–on environment. You should have: Previous warehouse or logistics management experienceExperience managing or supervising a warehouse teamGood knowledge of stock control and warehouse operationsGood IT skills, including ExcelStrong organisational skillsA practical, hands–on approachGood communication skillsThe ability to work under pressure and manage changing prioritiesFLT Licence is desirable but not essential If this sounds like the role for you then APPLY NOW!
