About the role
An established Lender is looking to hire a Senior FP&A Analyst.
The Role:
• Deliver the annual budget, quarterly forecasts and medium-term plan, ensuring key assumptions are complete, aligned and robust
• Produce scenario and sensitivity analysis to support tactical and strategic decisions, alongside ICAAP stress testing and weekly cash flow forecasting
• Partner with Product, Treasury and Credit Risk to agree planning assumptions and translate commercial activity into clear outcomes
• Provide month-end performance analysis, KPIs and senior level scorecards, investigating material variances against budget and forecast
• Strengthen forecasting, portfolio analytics and decision support capability through improvements to process, data and technology
The Person:
• Demonstrable experience in financial planning, budgeting or forecasting, including preparing MI
• Strong Excel modelling skills and proven experience of working with large datasets
• An understanding of balance sheets, net interest margin and investment appraisal techniques (ROA, ROC, NPV, payback)
• Confident communicator who can make complex analysis accessible to senior stakeholders
• Part qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent would be advantageous
• Financial services experience is helpful but not essential
