About the role
Slinger / Signaller - Ipswich (Kirton)
Location: Kirton, Ipswich, IP10 0QD
Duration: 4 Weeks
Start Date: 9th November
Hours: Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 4:00pm | Friday 7:30am - 2:00pm
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Slinger / Signaller to join a civil engineering project in the Kirton area of Ipswich for a 4-week contract.
Duties:
- Directing and signalling lifting operations
- Attaching and securing loads safely for crane and plant movements
- Communicating effectively with crane operators and site personnel
- Ensuring all lifting activities are carried out in accordance with site safety procedures
- Assisting with general site activities when required
- Completing pre-lift checks and maintaining safe working practices
Requirements:
- Valid CPCS or NPORS Slinger/Signaller ticket
- Anglian Water Passport (Essential)
- Previous experience on civil engineering, utilities, infrastructure or groundworks projects
- Good understanding of lifting operations and site safety
- Full PPE
- Reliable and available to start on 9th November
