THE COMPANY:This organisation operates a specialist technology platform that connects senior executives with investment firms, helping facilitate high-value introductions and commercial opportunities. The business has built a proprietary platform that sits at the heart of its operations and is now investing heavily in bringing engineering expertise in-house to support future growth.With a collaborative culture, strong leadership team, and ambitious product roadmap, the company offers the opportunity to play a visible role in shaping both technology and engineering best practice. THE ROLE:You will take ownership of major engineering initiatives across a PHP/Laravel and React platform, becoming the primary builder responsible for delivering high-quality software into production. Key responsibilities include:

• Owning large sprint tickets.
• Building across the Laravel backend and React frontend.
• Running releases independently and supporting deployment processes.
• Reviewing code and helping uphold engineering standards.
• Collaborating closely with Product, Data and QA teams.
• Reducing technical debt and improving software quality.
• Enhancing testing, CI/CD and release automation processes.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:You will bring strong capability in:

• Strong PHP and Laravel expertise in production environments.
• Commercial experience with React and TypeScript.
• Experience owning releases and delivering software into production.
• PostgreSQL database design, optimisation and migrations.
• AWS environments, ideally serverless architectures and Laravel Vapor.
• CI/CD tooling such as GitHub Actions.
• Interest in AI-assisted software development practices.
