- Collaborating with mathematics teachers and external professionals to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and support strategies
- Supervising students during lunch and academy activities
- Encouraging positive learning habits, problem-solving skills, resilience, and a growth mindset within mathematics learning environments
💡 What We're Looking For:
- A compassionate and resilient individual with a genuine passion for supporting students in mathematics
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and families
- An understanding of behaviour management strategies and SEND support
- Confidence in mathematics and the ability to explain concepts in an accessible and engaging way
- Willingness to undertake CPD and specialist training to support mathematics learning and intervention
- A team player who contributes positively to the ethos and wider life of the academy
- GCSE Mathematics, English and Science (Grade C/4 or above) and Teaching Assistant Level 3 qualification (or willingness to complete)
