The Role

As a Supply Teaching Assistant with CER Education, you’ll have the opportunity to work in a variety of school settings, supporting pupils both in and out of the classroom. No two days are the same, offering flexibility, variety, and valuable experience.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting teachers to deliver engaging lessons
• Working with small groups or on a one-to-one basis
• Assisting pupils with additional learning needs
• Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Encouraging pupil engagement, confidence, and achievement
• Supporting classroom management and daily routines

What We’re Looking For

We’re keen to hear from candidates who:

• Have experience working with children or young people
• Hold a Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant childcare qualification (desirable but not essential)
• Have a positive, proactive, and nurturing approach
• Can adapt confidently to different school environments
• Are committed to supporting pupil development and wellbeing
• Hold (or are willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
