Job Title: Primary Teacher
Location: Chorley
Contract Type: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
Start Date: ASAP
Daily Rate: £150 to £230 per day, dependent on experience
Spencer Clarke Group are working with primary schools across Chorley who need reliable teachers for day to day supply, short term cover and longer term placements.

About the Role:

You will plan and deliver lessons in line with the National Curriculum, manage your classroom with warmth and consistency, and keep pupils progressing while you are with them. Placements range from a single day to a full term, so you can pick the pattern that suits you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning and delivering lessons across the primary age range
• Assessing pupil progress and keeping accurate records
• Managing behaviour positively and consistently
• Working alongside teaching assistants and support staff
• Building good working relationships with staff, pupils and parents

What We Are Looking For:

• QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
• Experience across the primary age range, ECTs welcome
• Strong classroom management and good subject knowledge
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or a willingness to apply for one
• Reliability and a genuine interest in the children you teach

What You Will Receive:

• £150 to £230 per day, dependent on experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
