About the role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Procurement Data & Technology Transformation Lead to support a major transformation programme within a public-sector organisation.
This is an exciting opportunity for a senior data and technology professional to lead the development of procurement data, reporting and digital capabilities, helping create a single, accurate view of procurement activity, contracts, suppliers, spend and performance.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the development and delivery of the procurement data and technology strategy.
- Oversee the selection and implementation of eProcurement and contract management systems.
- Ensure integration between procurement platforms, SAP and other corporate systems.
- Develop data architecture, governance frameworks and data quality standards.
- Create dashboards, management information and commercial reporting to support decision-making.
- Improve visibility of supplier performance, contract management, procurement spend and savings.
- Manage technology suppliers, implementation partners and senior stakeholder relationships.
- Oversee system configuration, data migration, testing, implementation and business readiness.
- Monitor programme delivery, benefits, risks and commercial efficiencies.
Essential experience:
- Significant experience delivering enterprise data, technology or digital transformation programmes.
- Strong knowledge of data architecture, data governance, integration and reporting.
- Experience implementing complex technology platforms and managing external suppliers.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and programme leadership skills.
- Experience working with ERP, finance or procurement-related systems.
Desirable experience:
- eProcurement, sourcing or Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platforms.
- SAP integration and procurement data management.
- Supplier performance, contract reporting and procurement spend analytics.
- Public-sector or similarly complex organisational experience.
We are looking for someone who can combine strong technical data expertise with commercial awareness and strategic leadership to deliver sustainable improvements across procurement and contract management.
