The Role & About the Client

The Role & About the Client ITS Building People are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Site Manager on behalf of a well-established construction contractor delivering planned highways and civils works in Chicklade.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected contractor working on a construction management site. The successful candidate will provide a site presence during planned night works, ensuring the works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.

Key Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

• Supervising highways and civils works on site.
• Providing site management presence during planned night works.
• Liaising with highways and utilities contractors.
• Coordinating daily site activities and monitoring progress.
• Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with RAMS and project requirements.
• Monitoring quality of workmanship throughout the works.
• Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained at all times.
• Reporting any issues or delays to the wider project team.
• Liaising with subcontractors and other site personnel.
• Supporting the successful delivery of the works to programme.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Previous experience working as a Site Manager.
• Highways and/or civils experience.
• Experience working on or around live highways is desirable.
• SMSTS (essential).
• First Aid (essential).
• Good understanding of health and safety requirements.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work planned night shifts.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
