Kitchen Assistant – £14.24 per hour | Monday to Friday | Immediate Start

Looking for regular weekday work in Arbroath? We’re recruiting a Kitchen Assistant to join a Contract Catering site, offering Monday to Friday hours on a rota basis, with shifts starting as early as 6:30am and finishing as late as 8:30pm.

The role is starting ASAP and ongoing until further notice, making it a great opportunity for someone looking for consistent temporary work, with the flexibility to work a rota of early and late shifts.

Key Responsibilities

You’ll provide general kitchen support, helping the team keep the kitchen running smoothly. Duties will include:

• Carrying out basic food preparation
• Washing up and keeping the kitchen clean and tidy
• Supporting the wider kitchen team during service
• Maintaining good standards of hygiene and cleanliness
• Following food safety and health & safety procedures

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone reliable, hardworking and comfortable working as part of a busy kitchen team. You’ll ideally have:

• Previous kitchen or catering experience
• Basic food preparation skills
• A good understanding of hygiene and cleanliness
• Flexible availability to work Monday to Friday on a rota
• Availability for shifts between 6:30am and 8:30pm
• A positive, team-focused attitude
• Good reliability and timekeeping
