Care Home and Nursery Chef

Are you a culinary professional looking for flexibility and to be in control of your own working schedule? Stafffinders are currently on the search for temporary Chefs to work in a variety of nurseries, schools and care homes across Dundee.

Your rate of pay and hours of work 
These temporary positions currently have a pay rate of £16.00 per hour. Wages are paid weekly and you accrue holiday pay on all assignments worked. There are various, flexible shifts available, including weekdays, weekends and long-term assignments, working in various types of venues. You have the freedom to select your own shifts via our easy-to-use app, and the security of having no minimum commitment, so you can work as and when it suits you.

Responsibilities in your new role 
This is a role where you can take pride in the dishes you produce - some of the duties include: 

• Cooking a wide range of dishes for a variety of clientele

• Preparing and cooking meals for different events/venues

• Keeping aware of allergies/dietary requirements

• Maintaining good hygiene practices at all times

Your personality, experience, and qualifications 
We are eager to speak to chefs of all levels who have a minimum of one year of experience. You will have sound knowledge of allergens and dietary requirements, as well as knowledge of health and safety procedures.
Ideally you will have a valid PVG or Disclosure for these roles.
