Dispensing Optician - Part time - Upminster

We are seeking a qualified and GOC-registered Dispensing Optician to join our client’s friendly and supportive team. If you're passionate about providing excellent patient care, they want you to help them deliver the highest standards of service to the community. As a Dispensing Optician, you will play an integral role in ensuring all patients receive the best possible care and experience.

• Dispense and fit spectacles to patients according to their prescriptions

• Provide expert advice to patients on frame and lens options to suit their needs, lifestyle, and budget

• Assist in managing and maintaining the optical equipment and ensuring the highest levels of clinical care

• Ensure that all patient information and records are maintained accurately and confidentially

• Collaborate with a close-knit team to create an excellent customer-focused environment

• Provide pre-screening services to patients

• Offer professional guidance on eye care and products, ensuring patients understand their choices

• Stay up to date with the latest optical technologies and innovations

• Participate in professional development opportunities to expand your skills and knowledge

• You’ll need to be a qualified and GOC-registered Dispensing Optician

• Strong communication skills with a customer-focused attitude

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment

• Excellent attention to detail and a passion for providing exceptional patient care
