About the role
Connect Appointments is recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers for ongoing temporary work with our Bamber Bridge-based client – palletised multi drop of 10 to 15 drops per shift.
What’s on offer?
- Ongoing temporary work
- Monday to Friday, with 7am starts
- Shifts averaging 8 to 12 hours
- Paid weekly at £17.93 to £21.29 per hour – holiday pay included
As an HGV Class 2 Driver, your work will include:
- Multi drop palletised deliveries and collections across the area
- Completing all paperwork and delivery documentation accurately
- Providing a professional service to customers and clients on site
- Adhering to driving hours regulations and road safety requirements at all times
The successful HGV Class 2 Driver will have:
- A valid Class 2 licence – with a minimum of 6 months HGV driving experience
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Cards
- No more than 6 points on your licence
- No DR, DD, DG, IN or TT endorsements
