A globally recognised live entertainment manufacturer in South Kirkby is recruiting CNC Millers at both Setter/Operator and Programmer/Setter level.

The business designs and builds bespoke staging, set pieces and stage machinery for some of the biggest tours, concerts and live events on the planet. The components you’ll be machining are central to making those productions happen — skilled, varied work where you can trace a direct line from your machine to the finished stage.

The Role

• Setting and operating CNC milling machines to produce precision components
• Programming at the machine (Programmer/Setter level)
• Machining to tight tolerances on bespoke entertainment structures and set pieces
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Carrying out in-process inspection to maintain quality throughout
• Working alongside production and engineering teams to hit project deadlines
• Keeping a clean, safe and well-organised work area

What We’re Looking For

CNC Setter/Operator
• Solid experience setting and operating CNC milling machines
• Confident working from engineering drawings
• Fanuc controls preferred — other control experience considered

CNC Programmer/Setter
• Proven experience programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines
• Confident programming directly at the machine
• Fanuc controls preferred — other control experience considered
• Fusion 360 knowledge is a bonus
