Support worker - Day Service

Location: Bridgend (Opportunities across Bridgend Resource Centre, Sarn, Pyle, and Maesteg)

Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45 AM - 4:30 PM (No weekends or evenings! Flexible hours available to accommodate school drop-offs and pick-ups)

Contract: Temporary with guaranteed hours

Start Date: Immediate

In this role, you will provide vital support to individuals across our specialized hubs, which cater to elderly adults and individuals with complex learning disabilities.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Enriching Lives: Leading and participating in engaging activities such as arts and crafts, games, reading, and social events.

• Community Integration: Accompanying and supporting individuals on local outings and community excursions.

• Daily Living Assistance: Helping with personal care and supporting individuals during mealtimes (including enjoying lunch alongside those we support).

• Mobility Support: Assisting with manual handling where required (full training and support are provided; this is not required for all services).
