Job Title: Fire Alarm Engineer
Location: Cardiff
Length: Monthly Rolling Contract
Rate: £240 per day

Are you a Fire Alarm Engineer based in Cardiff looking for your next contract opportunity? As a Fire Alarm Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out the servicing, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems across a range of commercial and residential sites throughout South Wales. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality fire and security solutions to its customers.

Responsibilities:

* Carry out planned preventative maintenance and servicing of fire alarm systems in line with BS 5839 standards.
* Diagnose and repair faults on a range of fire alarm systems in a timely and professional manner.
* Work across high-end multi-panel fire alarm systems, including Gent and Siemens.
* Complete accurate service and maintenance records following each site visit.
* Liaise with site contacts and clients to ensure minimal disruption during works.
* Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.

Experience and Certifications required:

* Minimum 3 years' experience in fire alarm installation, servicing, and maintenance.
* Proven hands-on experience with multi-panel systems, including Gent and Siemens.
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across a variety of fire alarm systems.
* Full UK driving licence, as the role involves travel across South Wales.
* FIA Level 3 Fire Detection and Alarm Systems qualification (desirable).
* ECS/CSCS card (desirable).
