MULTI SKILLED MAINTENANCE ENGINEER Location: Bury, Manchester Salary: Up to £45,000 Shift: Monday to Friday, DAYS ONLY NO NIGHTS & NO WEEKENDSThe RoleA fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Bury, Manchester.This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically or mechanically biased engineer looking for a stable days-based role, offering a great work-life balance with no nights or weekends!You will play a key role in maintaining production equipment, responding to breakdowns and carrying out planned preventative maintenance to ensure machinery operates efficiently and downtime is kept to a minimum.Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across production machinery. Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults. Respond to breakdowns quickly to minimise production downtime. Complete fault finding and repairs on a range of manufacturing equipment. Identify opportunities to improve machinery reliability and performance. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health and safety standards. Essential Requirements Previous experience in a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer or Maintenance Engineer role. Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills. Experience working within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Relevant engineering qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent). A proactive approach to problem-solving and preventative maintenance. Desirable Experience Experience with PLC fault finding. Knowledge of continuous improvement and reliability engineering. Experience maintaining automated production machinery. What's on Offer? Salary of up to £45,000. Monday to Friday, DAYS ONLY. No night shifts or weekend working.
