This is an exciting opportunity for an accomplished sales professional with a strong background in exhibitions, sponsorship and partnership sales to play a key role in driving commercial growth across our international event portfolio.

The successful candidate will bring proven expertise in selling exhibition space, securing high-value partnerships and developing creative sponsorship and experiential opportunities that deliver measurable commercial value for both our partners and our events.

You will combine a strong commercial mindset with the ability to identify new revenue opportunities, build strategic relationships and negotiate impactful partnerships with leading global brands.

Key Responsibilities

Exhibition, Sponsorship & Partnership Sales

  • Drive revenue growth through the sale of exhibition space, sponsorship packages, branded experiences and bespoke commercial partnerships across our international event portfolio.
  • Identify, develop and convert new business opportunities, targeting brands and organisations seeking premium positioning, visibility and engagement within the luxury travel and events sector.
  • Develop compelling commercial propositions that combine exhibition participation, brand exposure, experiential activations and sponsorship opportunities.
  • Lead the full commercial sales cycle, from prospecting and strategic pitching through to proposal development, negotiation and contract closure.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed individual revenue targets through proactive business development, effective pipeline management and commercial negotiation.

Strategic Partnership Development & Account Growth

  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with key commercial partners, exhibitors, sponsors and strategic prospects.
  • Develop long-term partnerships that deliver commercial value, repeat investment and opportunities for growth across multiple events.
  • Identify opportunities to increase partner investment through upselling, cross-selling and the development of tailored multi-event partnership packages.
  • Understand partner objectives and translate these into commercially attractive sponsorship, exhibition and experiential solutions.
  • Represent Private Luxury Events at international exhibitions, trade shows, industry events and strategic client meetings.

Commercial Strategy & Product Development

  • Identify new opportunities to monetise exhibition space, event assets, content platforms and branded experiences.
  • Contribute to the development of sponsorship inventories, exhibition packages, partnership propositions and new commercial revenue streams.
  • Monitor exhibition industry trends, competitor offerings and evolving sponsor expectations to inform commercial strategies.
  • Collaborate with event, marketing and operations teams to ensure commercial partnerships are effectively positioned, sold and delivered.
  • Provide market intelligence and commercial recommendations to senior leadership to support event growth and product innovation.

Sales Performance, CRM & Reporting

  • Take ownership of a strong and qualified sales pipeline, ensuring consistent prospecting, opportunity progression and conversion.
  • Maintain accurate sales activity, opportunity records and revenue forecasts within Salesforce CRM.
  • Provide regular updates on pipeline performance, sales forecasts, partnership development and market opportunities.
  • Demonstrate strong commercial discipline in managing sales targets, deal values, contract negotiations and revenue delivery.

About You

You are an accomplished commercial sales professional with a proven track record in the exhibition, events and sponsorship industry.

You understand the commercial dynamics of exhibitions and have direct experience selling exhibition space, premium sponsorship opportunities and branded experiences.

You are confident engaging senior decision-makers, developing creative commercial solutions and securing high-value partnerships that deliver tangible results.

Entrepreneurial, proactive and commercially astute, you thrive in a dynamic international environment and bring both the ambition and experience to contribute meaningfully to business growth.

Requirements

  • Experience developing and presenting tailored sponsorship and partnership proposals to senior-level decision-makers.
  • Excellent commercial negotiation, communication and relationship-management skills.
  • Ability to identify and develop new revenue streams through innovative partnership structures and commercially compelling propositions.
  • A proactive, results-driven approach, with the confidence to independently manage complex sales opportunities from inception to close.
  • Strong organisational skills, commercial awareness and experience managing sales pipelines and forecasts.
