HOST Casework Officer

Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a HOST Casework Officer for a local authority in East London.

In this role, you will provide person-centred housing support to people experiencing rough sleeping, helping them access services, overcome barriers and secure and sustain accommodation.

Duties:

• Provide practical housing support to rough sleepers, helping them access and sustain suitable accommodation.
• Conduct needs and risk assessments, develop support plans and monitor residents' progress.
• Support residents to access benefits, health services and other specialist support.
• Work with housing providers and partner agencies to address risks, safeguarding concerns and barriers to tenancy sustainment.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience working directly with rough sleepers or people experiencing homelessness.
• Experience supporting individuals with complex needs, including mental health and substance misuse.
• Experience providing housing-related support and helping people sustain tenancies.
• Experience working with partner agencies to coordinate support and address safeguarding concerns.

What's on offer:

Salary: £30ph

*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*

Contract type: 6 months minimum

Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week
