About the role
This established and growing Scottish law firm is recruiting a Residential Property Solicitor to join its busy Bishopbriggs office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced solicitor to take ownership of a varied conveyancing caseload while becoming part of a client-focused team with a strong presence across Glasgow and the surrounding areas. The firm is willing to consider candidates looking for a locum role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a broad range of residential conveyancing matters, including property purchases, sales, transfers of title, remortgages, and new-build transactions.
- Advising clients on all aspects of the conveyancing process, delivering clear, practical, and commercially focused guidance.
- Drafting and reviewing contracts, title documentation, and related property documentation.
- Liaising with clients, lenders, estate agents, and other professional advisers to ensure transactions progress efficiently.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships while contributing to the continued success and growth of the property team.
Applicants should have a minimum of 5 years' PQE and strong experience in Scottish residential conveyancing. Candidates should be confident managing their own caseload independently, possess excellent communication and client care skills, and demonstrate a proactive and commercially aware approach to practice. Experience handling complex conveyancing transactions and developing client relationships will be advantageous.
You will be joining a respected and supportive team with an established client base and an excellent reputation in the local market. The role offers high-quality work, genuine opportunities for career progression, flexible working arrangements, and the chance to play a key role in the continued growth of a successful and expanding property practice.
