About the role
Service Desk Analyst - Newcastle - Onsite 5 days - Government - SC Clearance
I have an immediate opportunity for an experienced Service Desk Analyst to join a busy team that support our government client. You will handle both 1st and 2nd line IT queries on a wide range of devices and tools. You'll keep technology running smoothly for staff using laptops, mobiles, VoIP and cloud-based office services.
Due to the nature of the role, ideal candidates will hold active SC Clearance and are able to work onsite 5 days per week in Newcastle, 8.00 am to 4.00 pm.
I am keen to speak with candidates who have
- Experience working in a Service Desk environment covering 1st and 2nd line functions.
- Strong commitment to customer service and user satisfaction.
- Ability to take ownership of issues and see them through to resolution.
- Confident communicator who can explain technical matters to both technical and non-technical users.
- Interest in using new and emerging technologies to support users effectively.
- Desirable: ITIL accreditation or experience in an ITIL-based environment.
- Desirable: Experience or knowledge of Google Workspace and MacOS.
