Tradewind Recruitment is working with a successful and inclusive secondary school in Welwyn Garden City, currently seeking a Science Teacher to join their dynamic team on an immediate basis from after half term. This position is suitable for an experienced Science teacher or ECT who is passionate about delivering high-quality education to students at Key Stages 3 and 4. ________________________________________Job Role Requirements:* Deliver engaging and challenging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.* Develop and adapt lesson plans that cater to a diverse student population.* Assess, monitor, and report on student progress effectively.* Work collaboratively within a strong Science department.* Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have relevant UK classroom experience. ________________________________________Qualifications and Person Specification:* QTS and a degree in a Science-related subject.* Proven experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 in a secondary school setting.* Strong subject knowledge and effective behaviour management skills.* A commitment to high academic standards and continuous improvement.* Ability to inspire, engage and challenge students of all abilities. ________________________________________This client is a high-performing, non-selective secondary school in Welwyn Garden City, part of a respected academy trust.
