Head Chef | £40,000 Independent pub

A brilliant opportunity for a strong Sous Chef ready for a first Head Chef role, or a hands-on Head Chef who enjoys leading a small team and building a food offer with real potential.

This independent pub already has a solid lunch trade and a strong Sunday roast business, serving around 60 to 80 roasts each week. With around 60 covers at full capacity and manageable service levels through the week, this is a chance to take real ownership without stepping into a huge brigade operation.

You will lead a small kitchen team, drive standards, develop junior chefs, and help shape the next stage of the food offer.

What we are looking for:

• Fresh food pub, independent or hotel background
• Strong service leadership
• Confident running a small team
• Passion for best of British pub food
• Someone who wants to step up and make their mark

What is on offer:

• up to £40,000
• 45-hour contract
• Real autonomy
• Small team
• Genuine opportunity to build something
