General Manager – Multi-Sport and wellness centre

Location Hampshire

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000+

Are you a General Manager ready to lead a leisure site and its team, deliver excellent services that helps create active, healthy and thriving communities. You will own the site’s financial, commercial and operational performance as well as driving the customer experience.

The role

• Lead the site and its team, taking ownership of financial, commercial and operational performance
• Use KPIs and performance data to spot opportunities and take effective action
• Oversee membership sales, retention and revenue while ensuring a consistently high-quality customer experience
• Act as the key liaison with the partners, ensuring contractual commitments and social value targets are met.
• Develop your leadership team, setting clear objectives and supporting colleagues through induction and development planning
• Collaborate with community groups, health and wellbeing partners and colleagues across the wider business

About you

• Experience leading and developing a multi-functional operational team
• Experience managing a leisure facility or similar customer-focused operation
• Proven ability to deliver operational, commercial and financial targets
• Confident using performance information and KPIs to drive better results
• An inspiring, visible leader who brings people together around clear goals
• Confident working with clients and partners, and committed to an inclusive environment
• Leisure facility management experience is beneficial
• Enhanced Disclosure check required
