Role SummaryAs a Primary Supply Teacher, you will provide high-quality classroom cover for planned and unplanned teacher absences. Assignments may include day-to-day supply, short-term bookings and longer-term opportunities depending on your availability and preferences. Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver pre-planned lessons provided by the class teacherTeach across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 depending on experience and school requirementsMaintain classroom routines and behaviour expectationsSupport pupils to remain engaged and make progress during lessonsAdapt quickly to different school environments and year groupsComplete routine classroom duties including registers and handoversCreate a positive, inclusive and safe learning environmentFollow school safeguarding, behaviour and health and safety proceduresProvide feedback to school staff at the end of each assignmentCandidate RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you will need:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - ECTs welcome!Previous teaching experience within UK primary schoolsStrong classroom and behaviour management skillsGood knowledge of the primary curriculumConfidence delivering pre-planned lessonsA flexible, reliable and professional approachThe ability to travel to schools across Lambeth and arrive by approximately 8:15am-8:30amA commitment to safeguarding and supporting children's wellbeingPay and ProgressionThis role offers £155-£165 per day PAYE, dependent on experience and individual assignment requirements. £155 for ECTs and £160+ for Qualified Teachers and you can acheieve £165 if agreed to travel beyond your preferred distance.
