HGV Class 2 Driver

Platinum People are recruiting for 3 x HGV Class 2 Driver at our client in Boldon.

Duties HGV Class 2 Driver:
– Manual delivery of kegs to store rooms/cellars of pubs, bars, restaurants, casinos etc
– All vehicles are pre loaded and routes pre planned, 2 man delivery teams with a drivers mate for assistance
-Monday-Friday shift pattern 06:00 start
– Average 12-14 drops daily with average shift length between 8-10 hours
– Full induction including manual handling training given (paid after 2 weeks)
-Temp to perm role possible after 12 weeks

Pay HGV Class 2 Driver:
-£16.54 Monday-Friday plus Holiday Pay
-£18.54 – Monday-Friday – Including holiday pay
-Temp to perm possible after 12 weeks

Requirements HGV Class 2 Driver:
– Valid driving licence cat C
– Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for safe driving.
– Ability to handle physical tasks associated with loading and unloading.

£16.54 – £18.54 per hour
