Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing and maintenance of electrical systems and components that meet project specifications and industry standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Duties

• Design and develop electrical systems, circuits, and components in accordance with project requirements and safety standards.
• Conduct detailed analysis and simulations to validate electrical designs before implementation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, software developers, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
• Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment on-site.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues during development phases and resolve technical challenges efficiently.
• Prepare technical documentation, including schematics, specifications, test plans, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations throughout all phases of project execution.
• Support ongoing maintenance activities by diagnosing faults and implementing corrective actions.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and incorporate innovative solutions into design processes.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Electrical Engineering/Installation or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in electrical system design, testing, or related roles within engineering environments.
• Strong understanding of power distribution, control systems, circuit protection, and automation.
• 17th or 18th Edition.
• 2391 Testing and Inspection.
• Excellent analytical skills combined with meticulous attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and convey technical information clearly.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
