The Role

As a Customer Assistant, no two shifts are the same. From restocking shelves to jumping on tills, you’ll keep moving, keep business booming, and never be bored. You’ll take pride in going the extra mile to keep the store clean, tidy, and organised, working closely with your retail colleagues and making sure every customer receives the exceptional service they deserve.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Support: Be a retail expert, helping customers with their questions, queries, and requests.

• Store Operations: Efficiently work deliveries as they arrive in store and maintain an organized workspace.

• Customer Service: Passionately provide excellent service with a friendly, welcoming manner.

• Bakery Management: Proactively keep the bakery topped up by baking fresh goods.

• Merchandising: Expertly merchandise and maintain the middle aisles of Non-Food products.

What You’ll Need

• Experience: Experience working in a fast-paced environment.

• Customer Focus: Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and positive approach.

• Flexibility: The flexibility to start a shift early (from 5 AM) or finish late (up to 11 PM) to suit business needs.

• Adaptability: A positive approach to changing priorities throughout your shift.

• Drive & Passion: A strong work ethic and the desire to make your store a success.

What You’ll Receive

• Competitive Pay: £13.45 - £14.45 per hour, with additional shift premiums (£2.00 per hour for bank holidays and £3.50 per hour for nights).
