The Role

As a Warehouse Operative, you’ll make sure stores receive the right stock when they need it. From picking products to helping out in team tasks like checking stock, you’ll roll up your sleeves and get the job done. You’ll work through your orders independently to help get over 2,000 products into the hands of happy customers, taking pride in the fact that without you, the shelves would be empty.

Key Responsibilities:

• Order Picking: Act as a multitasker, carefully listening to picking instructions through your headset to carry them out swiftly.

• Product Packing: Pack a variety of products including meat, fruit, frozen, and chilled items (with premium payments of £1.50/hour when working at temperatures as low as -18°C).

• Delivery Management: Make sure your deliveries are perfectly stacked, secure, and ready for dispatch.

• Quality Control: Report any damaged items to your manager immediately.

• Independent Execution: Take responsibility for independently working through your orders efficiently.

What You’ll Receive

• Competitive Pay: £13.80 - £14.45 per hour, with additional premiums (£2.00 per hour for bank holidays, £3.50 per hour for nights, and £1.50 per hour for freezer environments).
