• Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
• Friday: 8:00 am – 2:00 pm

About the Role

An established engineering and fabrication company based in Hillsborough is seeking an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join its team.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' welding and fabrication experience, with the ability to work independently, interpret engineering drawings and produce high-quality work to specification.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson seeking stable, full-time employment with competitive hourly pay and an early finish every Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out welding and metal fabrication work to a high standard.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, measurements and technical specifications.
• Measure, mark out, cut, prepare and assemble metal components.
• Complete welding, fitting and finishing tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Inspect finished work to ensure it meets quality requirements.
• Operate welding equipment, fabrication machinery and hand tools safely.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Work independently and alongside colleagues to meet production deadlines.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years' relevant welding and fabrication experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong practical welding, fabrication and metalworking skills.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious approach to work.

What’s on Offer?

• £16.00–£18.00 per hour, depending on experience.
• Full-time, permanent position.
• Consistent weekday working hours.
• Early finish every Friday at 2:00 pm.
