Are you ready for a role that goes beyond the standard 9-5?

Pertemps is looking for an experienced and highly organised Contract Manager to lead a large contracts. Managing a workforce of approximately 400 temporary workers, you'll be responsible for ensuring exceptional service delivery while leading a team of recruiters from our Milton Keynes branch.

This is a hands-on management role that requires strong leadership, excellent organisational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Whilst the role's core hours are 7:00am to 4:00pm, the successful candidate must be flexible and available outside of these hours when required to support operational needs, staffing requirements and client demands.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

• Managing and developing a team of recruiters responsible for servicing a large-volume contract.
• Overseeing the supply of circa 400 temporary workers across the operation.
• Conducting daily workforce check-ins and ensuring attendance levels are monitored and managed.
• Managing staffing levels to ensure all client requirements are fulfilled.
• Maintaining accurate staffing spreadsheets, reports and workforce plans.
• Liaising directly with temporary workers regarding attendance, availability, performance and shift requirements.
• Building strong relationships with key client contacts.
• Managing absence, retention and workforce engagement.
• Resolving operational issues quickly and effectively.
• Driving compliance standards and ensuring all worker documentation remains up to date.
• Supporting the team outside of core hours when required to ensure smooth contract delivery.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience managing a high-volume recruitment contract or temporary workforce.
• Strong people management experience with the ability to lead and motivate a recruitment team.
• Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Strong Excel and administrative skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• A proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving.
• Willingness to be available outside of core business hours when operationally required.

Please note:

This role requires flexibility. Whilst the position is branch-based and supported by a recruitment team, the Contract Manager is ultimately accountable for contract delivery and will be expected to support staffing requirements, worker communications and operational updates outside of core hours when necessary.

This role would suit an experienced Recruitment Manager, Onsite Manager, Account Manager or Contract Manager who has managed large temporary workforces and enjoys leading from the front.
