Key Responsibilities
- Develop data products and services and integrate them into systems and business processes.
- Design and lead the implementation of data flows connecting operational systems, analytics and BI systems.
- Identify opportunities to reuse existing data flows.
- Lead the build of data streaming systems and optimise code to ensure processes perform effectively.
- Lead database management activities.
- Design, build and test complex or large-scale data products.
- Build teams to deliver data integration services.
- Select and implement appropriate technologies to deliver resilient, scalable and future-proofed data solutions.
- Design appropriate metadata repositories and present changes to existing repositories.
- Respond to problems affecting databases, data processes, data products and services; initiate action, monitor services and identify trends to resolve issues.
- Determine appropriate remedies and support their implementation, including preventative measures.
- Use agreed standards and tools to design, code, test, correct and document moderate-to-complex programs and scripts from agreed specifications and subsequent iterations.
- Collaborate with others to review specifications where appropriate.
- Communicate between technical and non-technical stakeholders and facilitate discussions within a multidisciplinary team.

- Capability to design, build and test complex or large-scale data products and deliver data integration services.
