    • Short circuit studies
    • Protection coordination
    • Dynamic and transient stability assessments
    • Grid connection and compliance studies
    • Power quality assessments
  • Analyse data and study outputs, helping to identify practical engineering solutions
  • Prepare technical calculations, reports and engineering documentation
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams across energy projects
  • Engage with clients, network operators and project stakeholders where required
  • Support the continuous improvement of modelling approaches, analysis techniques and engineering standards
  • Keep up to date with developments in power systems, renewable technologies and industry regulations

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within project teams
  • A desire to continue developing technical knowledge and professional skills within the power systems field

Desirable:

  • Experience using power system analysis software such as ETAP, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, PSS®E or similar packages
  • Exposure to renewable energy, battery storage, HVDC, generation or grid connection projects
