Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:30am–4:15pm | Friday, 7:30am–12:00pm
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join a busy manufacturing environment in Dudley. This is a hands-on role involving the heat treatment of bearing rings, component inspection and general production duties.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a hot industrial environment and committed to maintaining high standards of health and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Loading bearing rings into furnaces for heat treatment and removing them at the required times.
- Quenching components in oil within specified time frames.
- Checking the hardness and roundness of components, making adjustments where necessary.
- Assembling cage components between furnace loads.
- Following production processes and health and safety procedures at all times.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
What We're Looking For
- Comfortable with heavy, hands-on work.
- Ability to lift items weighing over 25kg.
- Comfortable working in a hot manufacturing environment.
- Good attention to detail when checking components and following processes.
- A positive attitude and strong awareness of health and safety.
- Previous manufacturing or production experience would be beneficial.
