Work Pattern: 37 hours per week

PAYE Pay Rate: £22.37 per hour

Main Purpose

To design and deliver landscape, public realm and biodiversity projects for the Council, managing projects from design through to completion while ensuring they meet budget, programme, quality and sustainability requirements.

Typical Day

• Design landscape and public realm schemes.
• Produce drawings, specifications and reports.
• Carry out site surveys and inspections.
• Support planning applications.
• Work with ecologists, architects, highways and engineers.
• Manage consultants, contractors and stakeholders.
• Monitor budgets, programmes and project risks.
• Support procurement and tendering.
• Oversee construction, snagging and completion.
• Deliver BNG, biodiversity and sustainability projects.

Essential Requirements

• Relevant Landscape Architecture qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience delivering landscape projects from design to completion.
• Strong knowledge of landscape design and technical drawings.
• Experience with site surveys and inspections.
• Knowledge of planning, environmental and CDM requirements.
• Experience managing budgets, programmes and contractors.
• Good communication and stakeholder skills.
• Commitment to CPD/professional development.
