This full-time role is offered on a short-term supply basis from 9th November, initially for approximately two weeks to cover a teacher undertaking jury service. The booking may be extended depending on the length of the court case.The RoleWe're looking for a creative and enthusiastic Art and Design specialist who can inspire students, encourage artistic expression and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons. You will:Teach Art and Design across Key Stage 3, five days per week.Deliver engaging, inspiring and differentiated lessons that encourage creativity and develop practical artistic skills.Use confident, calm behaviour management rooted in AfL principles.Adapt teaching to meet the evolving needs and abilities of students.Encourage students to explore different artistic techniques, materials and approaches.Join a supportive department committed to raising achievement and developing students' confidence and creativity.Applications are welcome from:Early Career Teachers (ECTs).Experienced QTS Teachers.Teachers with relevant Art and Design teaching experience and a passion for inspiring young people.The SchoolThis is a small, friendly Catholic academy in Trafford, part of a large and reputable academy trust supporting Catholic secondary schools across Manchester.
