Tradewind Recruitment is looking for enthusiastic, reliable and dedicated Secondary Teaching Assistants to work across secondary schools on the Wirral.

Whether you have experience supporting pupils with additional needs, helping students stay engaged in lessons, or providing general classroom support, we'd love to hear from you!

✨ The Role

As a Secondary Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
• Work with small groups and individual pupils to reinforce learning.
• Provide one-to-one support for pupils who require additional assistance.
• Support pupils with SEND, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and other additional learning needs, where required.
• Help maintain a positive, inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
• Encourage pupils' confidence, independence and engagement with learning.

✅ We're Looking For Someone Who:

• Has experience working with children or young people, ideally in a secondary school setting.
• Has a positive, patient and adaptable approach.
• Is confident supporting pupils with a range of abilities and learning needs.
• Has excellent communication and behaviour-management skills.
• Is passionate about education and helping young people succeed.
• Holds, or is willing to obtain, an enhanced DBS check, subject to the relevant requirements.
