Join Sodexo as a Multi Skilled Security Officer at Sevington Inland Border Facility, where you’ll play an important role in protecting our colleagues, clients, contractors and visitors.

As a visible and approachable presence on site, you’ll combine strong security awareness with excellent customer service. Whether you’re supporting visitors, monitoring radio communications or responding to incidents, your professionalism and attention to detail will help keep daily operations running safely and smoothly.

With a 4-on, 4-off shift pattern, you’ll have regular blocks of time away from work to enjoy what matters to you.

What you’ll do:

• Provide a professional, friendly and helpful security presence throughout your shift.
• Support clients, contractors and visitors, ensuring site procedures and security requirements are followed.
• Respond promptly and effectively to incidents and emergencies, keeping relevant people informed.
• Liaise with statutory authorities when required, providing clear and accurate information to support incident handling.
• Monitor site radio communications and follow the correct procedures.
• Maintain accurate site records, including incident reports, reference materials and the site occurrence book.
• Build positive working relationships with our on-site client and the wider team.

What you’ll bring:

• A responsible and dependable approach, with high standards of professionalism and integrity.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable manner.
• The ability to remain calm and respond effectively under pressure.
• Strong observation skills and attention to detail.
• Confidence working independently and as part of a team.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative.
• Basic IT skills and confidence using security systems, radios and reporting tools.
• A valid SIA licence is desirable.
