Warehouse Operations Specialist

We're working with a successful business in Peterborough to recruit a Warehouse & Operations Specialist to join their team. This is a great opportunity for a reliable, organised individual who enjoys a hands-on role and takes pride in keeping warehouse operations running smoothly.

You’ll play an important part in the day-to-day running of the warehouse, helping to ensure stock is accurately managed, orders are prepared efficiently and customers receive the correct products on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Receiving deliveries, checking goods against paperwork and putting stock away in the correct locations.
• Loading and unloading deliveries safely.
• Maintaining accurate stock records and assisting with regular stock checks.
• Preparing orders for dispatch and ensuring goods are packaged securely.
• Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and organised.
• Following all health and safety procedures and safe working practices.
• Working closely with colleagues to meet daily targets and delivery deadlines.
• Reporting stock discrepancies, damaged goods or any issues to the relevant team members.

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous warehouse, stores or stock-handling experience would be beneficial.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to work accurately.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.
• A reliable, proactive approach with a willingness to get involved.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of health and safety.
