Could you be the reason someone smiles?

Join us as a Home Care Assistant in Newton Abbott and surrounding areas, and make a real difference while building a rewarding career in care.

There’s something truly special about helping others live with dignity and joy, especially in their own home. Whether it’s sharing a cup of tea and a good chat, helping with daily routines and personal care, or being that friendly face that brightens a client’s morning, you’re giving more than care… you’re giving connection.

And the best part? You get just as much back. The gratitude, the stories, the smiles that stay with you.

What we offer

  • Outstanding career development with fully funded professional training and qualifications (up to QCF level 5).
  • Flexible contracts – to work around you
  • Refer a friend scheme - earn up to £1000*
  • Up to £14.20 an hour and mileage paid - 32p per mile
  • Blue Light care discount package
  • Company pension scheme
  • On demand pay

The Role of a Home Carer:

  • Supporting people with their daily routines, including household tasks and personal care
  • Helping with shopping, preparing nutritious meals, and making a comforting cup of tea
  • Providing companionship, a listening ear, and friendly conversation
  • Helping with medication

About you:

Above all, we’re looking for someone kind, compassionate, and genuinely passionate about helping others. You don’t need previous care experience or qualifications; if you have the right attitude and a caring nature, we can teach you the rest.

You’ll bring:

  • A warm, caring, and compassionate approach to supporting others
  • Strong people skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships
  • A supportive, professional, and team-focused mindset
  • A minimum of 12 months remaining on your right to work in the UK (please note we are currently unable to offer sponsorship)
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Flexibility to work alternating weekends

If you’ve got a kind heart, a listening ear, and a desire to make a client’s world a little brighter—while learning new, valuable skills and continuing your development—we’d love you to join our team.
