Our client, a well-established independent garage located in Welling, Bexley area, is on the lookout for a skilled Vehicle Technician to strengthen their dedicated team. With a commitment to delivering high-quality automotive services, this garage has built a reputation for excellence in vehicle maintenance and repair.   Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct diagnostic assessments and perform repairs on a variety of vehicles.
• Carry out routine servicing and maintenance to ensure vehicle safety and reliability.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues to provide exceptional service to customers.
• Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians as needed.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, preferably within an independent garage setting.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems in vehicles.
• Ability to diagnose and repair faults efficiently.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• An NVQ or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair is essential.
• Full UK driving license.

Providing a professional, customer-focused service when interacting with customers face to face. What We're Looking For: Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic or Mechanical Inspector. A City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair. A full, valid UK driving licence held for a minimum of two years. Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills. The ability to work independently and manage a varied workload. A professional manner and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
